And just like you can imagine, some of the results offer some quite unbelievable promises? Products that are "guaranteed to help you lose pounds" by just popping a tablet twice a day. Everything from supplements that help you to feel "fuller" to others that promise to "completely dissolve fat"? Do they work? Hopefully we can help you answer this.
Thermogenic Weight Loss Supplements
Thermogenesis is the metabolic process by which organisms
burn calories in order to generate heat. A simpler way to say that is
thermogenesis is the body's way of producing heat. It does this by “burning”
Although this sounds like a "miracle" answer, it is something that the body does naturally. Energy is made by burning calories and therefore we lose weight. This is why you weigh less in a morning than you did the night before.

The Keto Diet involves drastically reducing carbohydrate intake and replacing it with fat. This reduction in carbs puts your body into a metabolic state called "Ketosis".
Keto Diets are very similar to the Atkin's Diet. The Atkin's Diet was extremely popular in the late 90's but after a few years it lost popularity due to health issues that could arise.
Numerous studies have shown that low carbohydrate diets are unlikely to produce significant long-term weight loss and may lead to serious health problems. The caution of leading medical and nutrition organizations worldwide against all low carbohydrate diets stems from the fact that these diets greatly increase fat and protein consumption, which could lead to many serious ill effects, and greatly restrict consumption of essential nutrients: minerals, trace elements and vitamins, and fibre, all of which promote improved health and help prevent many diseases.
Side effects from ketosis can include nausea, headache, mental fatigue and bad breath. In addition, the Atkins Diet isn't a good idea for everyone. For example, the Atkins Diet recommends that you talk to your health care provider before starting the diet if you take diuretics, insulin or oral diabetes medications.
