Who an all-in-one supplement is for
A good complete dog food covers the essentials, and a healthy young dog on one doesn't strictly need anything else. But most dogs aren't quite in that bracket. 3. Skin and coat
Salmon oil is a natural source of the omega-3 fatty acids EPA and DHA, which the skin uses to stay supple and the coat to stay glossy. It's the ingredient owners tend to notice first, usually as a softer coat and less dry, flaky skin.
4. Digestion

No. They contain no CBD, hemp or THC. The actives are joint nutrients, salmon oil, a probiotic and vitamins. We sell them alongside our CBD pet range because many owners use both, but they are separate products and can be used together or on their own.
What are the eight benefits?

Does my dog need a multivitamin if they eat complete dog food?
A healthy young dog on a good complete food doesn't strictly need one. Dogs on home-cooked or raw diets, older dogs, active dogs, fussy eaters and dogs recovering condition commonly benefit. If you're unsure, a daily 8-in-1 is a safe, low-cost way to cover the gaps.
Can I give them with other HighV chews?
Yes. The most common combinations are 8-in-1 with Calm & Relax, or 8-in-1 with Joint & Bone for an older dog. The overlap in joint nutrients between 8-in-1 and Joint & Bone is fine at the guide amounts. Don't feed 8-in-1 alongside another multivitamin.
How much glucosamine is in each chew?
100mg glucosamine, 100mg MSM, 100mg collagen and 30mg chondroitin sulphate. That's a maintenance level for a healthy dog; Joint & Bone Dog Treats provide double for dogs that need more.
Can I give them to my puppy?
From 12 weeks of age, following the feeding guide by weight. A good puppy food should be the foundation; the chews are a top-up, not a replacement.
Are they suitable for senior dogs?
Yes. Senior dogs are the group most likely to benefit from an all-round top-up, particularly the joint nutrients, omega-3s and B vitamins. If your older dog is on medication, mention the supplement at their next vet check.
How long do they take to work?
Digestion often settles within the first two weeks. Coat condition typically improves over three to six weeks. Joint support and general vitality build over two to three months of daily feeding.
Can I give them with medication?
They can be given alongside other supplements. If your dog is on prescription medication, particularly anti-inflammatories or blood-thinning medication, check with your vet first.
Are there any side effects?
Very few. Occasionally a dog has slightly softer stools in the first few days as the probiotic and oils bed in, which settles on its own. Stop and contact your vet if you notice anything that concerns you.
What happens if my dog eats too many?
They're a complementary food, not a medicine, so an extra chew or two is unlikely to cause more than a looser stool. If a dog gets into the tub and eats a large number, contact your vet for advice, because the vitamin content adds up; keep the tub out of reach.
Do they contain fish?
Yes, salmon oil, which is where the omega-3s come from. They also contain beef collagen and peanut butter. If your dog has a fish or beef sensitivity, check the full ingredients before feeding.
How long does one tub last?
Each tub contains 60 soft chews: two months for a dog under 10kg, one month for a dog of 10 to 30kg, and around three weeks for a dog over 30kg.
Why are the ingredient amounts listed when other brands don't?
